Dahua T54IR-ZE-S3 - wow, what a contrast difference

I exited Adaptive and it's still grayed out. Beats me. Maybe I need to reboot the cam for it to reset.

    Trench fiber, cat6 etc

Nice job on the trenching. Kind of late but would have been nice to throw some more PVC in your trench just in case. You can see how I put three PVC pipes in my trench (from link above) plus I threw low voltage wire into the trench (no PVC for it). Last time I rented a trencher I ran 1,200 feet...

Dahua T54IR-ZE-S3 - wow, what a contrast difference

Um, beats me...I don't think so. LOL. The Exposure section is grayed out. And I don't get this AI SSA stuff.

Dahua T54IR-ZE-S3 - wow, what a contrast difference

Since the T54IR-ZE-S3 has fairly good AI built in I don't use anything in BI for motion and I don't use DS anymore with these cams.

Still in Self-Adaptive mode but tweaks to the contrast, sharpness and gamma.

Dahua T54IR-ZE-S3 - wow, what a contrast difference

Yes, I have been using the default setting for both cams. I'm just surprised at the difference.

Dahua T54IR-ZE-S3 - wow, what a contrast difference

If you select Self-Adaptive mode it seems somewhat better.

Dahua T54IR-ZE-S3 - wow, what a contrast difference

I'm amazed at the contrast difference between two different T5442T-ZE with the same exact settings. Both cams are in the backyard (the east side of house) and it's very cloudy today with no direct sun this time of day but you can see the difference. The first pic the cam is on the north side...

    Blue Iris Constantly Crashing

I've been using BI for over 6 years. I only found one dmp file for BI and it's recent. As I recall there was some sort of significant power issue that day. I didn't read all your posts but I'm pretty confident that someone probably already mentioned the video driver you have on your system. This...

    US Elections (& Politics) :)

Nothing against men pretending to be women but just have a trans category and let boys compete against each other. For that matter, let's create hair color groups, breast size, height groups. BTW, is there such thing as women pretending to be men then competing in men's sports? Haven't heard...

    Trench fiber, cat6 etc

I personally like conduit as you can easily change out the cable as technology changes. I'd still run direct burial Cat6 through the conduit. https://ipcamtalk.com/threads/tree-cam-installation.77181/post-862353
