I'm gonna pull the trigger and buy an extra contactor since they are relatively inexpensive and some of you are saying it's not unusual for that part to go out. Yesterday I finally got around to doing the annual maintenance on the outside unit. For me that means vacuuming out the leaves and cleaning the coils. Note to future-self, Simple Green "FOAMING coil & condenser cleaner" does not foam. It says to use a pressurized sprayer which I did but no foam...- Sybertiger
