    One final question... If I perform surgery (open it up), can I actually disable the red LED separately from the IR illuminators? I'm thinking I'll turn off the IR through the software, but like being able to turn it on by switching profiles... But I'd prefer not to have that annoying LED on...

    I got my 4mp, 2.8mm turret today. I can't seem to find a way to shutoff the IR (like I know you can do with Hikvision products)? Am I missing it, or do I have to really perform HW surgery to remove the fairly bright red light coming out of it? Thanks!

    It actually looks the size of a small cantaloupe... Not trying to parse words here - but from that picture it just doesn't look substantially smaller than some of the existing smaller sized ptz's.

    Hey folks... I can't seem to find a ~4MP H.265 with say 25fps... With decent quality (name brand), and English firmware. Does one exist? I found a Dahau model on AE but it seemed to be Chinese FW only. I have no problem buying domestic, but would rather get something that supports H.265.

    You buy from his company and you get a 3 year warranty... Try getting that on hik's from AE. Now if only I could get a US camera with H.265...

    Are any brand of cameras easier to turn on/off the IR? Without rebooting the cameras I mean? Because that would be perfect - I only would want to turn them on maybe a few minutes a month, not 300+ hours per month.
