    If you want to get the history back you will have to correct/change the old recording file names to match the new camera names, then rebuild the database! There are a number of file rename programs that can do these sort of changes in batch mode, an internet search will find them for you!

    Some cameras need to accessed using IE mode in Edge, otherwise they will not recognize the username & password, I know this since I have several cameras that require this, there is no error message if you try to login while not in IE mode, it just will not work!

    Are all the cameras recording direct to disk? Are they all set to 15 fps? Are you using substreams? I am not sure that the video card will be much use to BI directly as on my system turning off Hardware Acceleration actually reduces my CPU usage with 18 cameras, but will probably help CPAI!
