    The IPC-HFW4431R-Z is a 4mp camera and the NVR you listed is good for 2mp. Try setting the camera to 1920×1080.

    Just what is AGC ON? My hikvision (DS-2CD3332-I) camera didn't have any on/off for AGC. I believe it was on for the exposure(s) that are unusable and create motion blur at night.

    I have the same problem on my laptop. I also installed Lunascape and it works. I don't care for the program much as it seems laggy and crashes now and then. On my laptop, if I log in using another user account the camera will work fine in internet explorer.

    This is the one I bought: Outdoor Pan Tilt Electric Bracket RS485 Control Up Down Left Right CCTV Mount | eBay Not sure who the actual manufacturer is. There was a good review on youtube with the guy going thru configuration using a RS485 keypad.

    Ryan, Did you get a chance to look into the RS485 PTZ function? I took a snapshot of my Dad's HVR and the PTZ setting are much different. It looks like you can set each camera channel to a specific RS485 address. See the attached Picture.

    Ryan, I check it, the only thing lacking is the protocol "Pelco-d". I'm also confused with the difference in controlling a PTZ IP camera and controlling a PTZ device connected to the NVR. How does the NVR deal with the two as it seem that the PTZ function is trying to control the active camera...
