    Review-SD4A425DB-HNY 1/2.8" CMOS 4MP 25x Starlight Auto-tracking MiniPTZ

No, live view takes a few seconds to appear (10-12?) but no issues with live view (choppy or blank video).

    Review-SD4A425DB-HNY 1/2.8" CMOS 4MP 25x Starlight Auto-tracking MiniPTZ

Because I speculated that playing directly from the SD card in the camera might have a lower 'read' capability. So copying the file down to my PC and running it made me think it has something to do with the SD card being slow. I upgraded to the fastest I could find and based on what I've read...

    Review-SD4A425DB-HNY 1/2.8" CMOS 4MP 25x Starlight Auto-tracking MiniPTZ

Yes, I forgot to add that important distinction. Any video I download as mp4 plays as expected; no choppy video. I don't have IE, can't get it, only edge and there is no prompt for plugin since I appear to have the latest firmware which appears to run in the native Edge or Chrome. Although in...

    Review-SD4A425DB-HNY 1/2.8" CMOS 4MP 25x Starlight Auto-tracking MiniPTZ

My SD4A425DB-HNY is proving to be very challenging in two areas. 1) unacceptable lag between menu selections and choppy or blank video playback from SD card. Not at all like my SD49225T-HN and 42212TNI, which are both responsive, snappy and no choppy video playback from slower SD cards. I've...

    SD4A425DB-HNY external mic connection help

Forget the above I messed up and couldn't edit. On the camera tag: Red-audio out, white-audio in, black-ground. Mic wires are red and black. Do I connect the white camera wire to the red mic wire and the black camera wire to the black mic wire with the red unused?

    SD4A425DB-HNY external mic connection help

On the camera tag: Red-audio out, white-audio in, black-ground. So, then I would connect the white wire from the camera to the white wire on the mic and the black wire from the camera to the black wire on the mic with a red wire from the camera not used... Does this sound correct? I recently...

    SD4A425DB-HNY external mic connection help

I'm trying to use an external powered mic with my SD4A425DB-HNY camera but unsure about the wiring connections. The camera has 3 wires, red, black and white. The wires from the mic are red and white. The mic has a separate power connector. How would I connect two wires with 3 wires? Is one...

    help understanding a few settings

Ahhh, that is good to know. I suspected that I could use one or the other or both. Having MD on creates a lot of false negatives (leaves, bugs, tree shadows). Just using IVS cuts down on this a LOT.

    help understanding a few settings

I've recently started using 3 of my Dahua cameras IVS features to record on a local SD card (in addition to BI recordings). However, in the past few years I've always let BI do the heavy work of motion detect, filtering and trigger recording. I've decided to use some SD cards in my Dahua cams...

    Blue Iris Tools and UAC

I guess Windoze updated on my Windows 11 computer and now, on reboot, UAC is asking for permission to run Blue Iris Tools. Is there an easy fix for this to automatically run BIT or have UAC ignore it?

UI 3 and green screen playback issue (again?)

It's happening on my desktop computer at home and, now that I'm on the road, with my laptop. On both machines I was using Chrome primarily but tried Edge and both had hw acceleration turned off and both tried using javascript. When this was reported late last summer, switching to javascript...

UI 3 and green screen playback issue (again?)

Fixed this a few months ago from a suggestion to turn on javascript in UI3 but it's been back now for a least 2 months. Tried Edge, turned off hw accel in both edge and chrome, still no love. Anything new on this to try to get rid of the green screen video playback in UI3?

OK, now I see on the left you have to 'agree' to conditions, etc. Got it but is this fw for the IPC-2347G-LU ?

Loryta IPC-2347G-LU (Hikvision), possible to flash with Dahua firmware?

Out of curiosity, where might I find the equivalent Hikvision firmware to flash my Loryta camera? I mean, if I went to the Hikvision firmware downloads, how would I know which one to choose?

Loryta IPC-2347G-LU (Hikvision), possible to flash with Dahua firmware?

I have a Loryta IPC-2347G-LU camera and I thought I saw somewhere, awhile back, that this camera could be flashed with a similar version of a Dahua camera. I'm interested in doing this because it would then fit nicely in my Dahua Smart-PSS environment. I intend to replace this camera anyway so...

VLAN or other solution to separate camera traffic; advice requested

But if I try to access BI UI3 from outside, won't I just access using the BI machine's 'inside' IP with a port number that I set up in my Router's firewall? That's the way I do it now, I didn't think that part would change (outside access).

VLAN or other solution to separate camera traffic; advice requested

OK, understanding a bit more now. That last statement may be what is my issue. I have 3 cams (front of the house) that are my "better" cams (more features, quality, etc.) that also have SD cards in them to record above and beyond what BI triggers see. I have a hole in my router firewall to...

VLAN or other solution to separate camera traffic; advice requested

In my diagram the BI server is going through the 16 port Netgear switch. Second question answer is the router in my diagram is the only router in my network. I have most of the other ports on my 16 port switched connected to various things (ie: TV's, ROKU's, Tivo box, etc.) I do have a...

VLAN or other solution to separate camera traffic; advice requested

I have a TPLink AX6000 router, a Netgear 16 port unmanaged switch and a TPLink 8 port POE switch. How to view recorded video directly from camera?

That did it. I didn't know there was an IE compatibility mode in Edge so one less piece of software I don't need to dl/install. Thanks! Now I can do playback.

How to view recorded video directly from camera?

I have a couple of Hikvision cameras that I've been using with Blue Iris for a few years now but would like to view the video that has been recorded directly onto the SDCard in the cameras. I can't do it anymore with Edge or Chrome or IE Tab in Chrome because the browsers no longer support...

Could use suggestions for a video trigger fault on 3 cams

I will try the algorithm change but we're the last house before the end of a cul-de-sac so 95% of the car speeds are ~25mph. Still, I'll lower the detection time anyways.
