    PTZ preset shifting

    do you have the ptz setting of "idle motion" - I had to set mine to on and gave it 1 minute timing. not sure if this is is related to your problem, but it solved my shifted movement in my preset, and kept IVS from working properly

    How do I setup motion detection on my PTZ5A4M-25X

    I thing I learned. I needed to enable -idle motion- I have it set for 1 minute, so that my cam returns to my preset. I have noticed that if the cam does not return to the "exact" preset position, I will not get an alarm or tracking event. Seems a bit of drift, makes a big difference.

    @Wildcat_1 Have you tried this firmware that is available from Dahua? you probably have, and it's still not up to par I take it. DH_SD-Taurus_MultiLang_PN_Stream3-Normal_V2.820.0000013.5.R.230301 I downloaded it, but not installing till I see more feedback on it.

    sorry, outside planting a new variety of avocado :) I have a 256 card and it has a nice way to review all the events on the card. I could not find the cause of the stray movements.. this afternoon it was doing it again as mentioned above. No bug issues during the day.

    just got home from work the ptz has been tracking events all day long at ghosts, now this time in the completely opposite direction there's got to be a reason for this. maybe have to do a factory reset on this thing. have it deleted in B.I. then do a find reinspect on it. :idk:
