Worlds First Review - Dahua DH-IPC-PFW5849-A180-E2 - Dual Lens 180 Degree Full Color 4K (8MP Stitched) Camera

Yeah, like I said, the Dah 4096 x 1216 = 3.37:1 is the closest aspect ratio match for sure. I'll do an iPhone capture of my athletic build :) when I do the video

Worlds First Review - Dahua DH-IPC-PFW5849-A180-E2 - Dual Lens 180 Degree Full Color 4K (8MP Stitched) Camera

All, here is a quick stills comparison of both the Hik (single) and Dahua (multiple) resolutions on offer now as of the latest FW. Don't read anything about quality or cam balance into this as I pulled these quick and had to reduce quality to fit as an attachment here. Just wanted people to have...

Worlds First Review - Dahua DH-IPC-PFW5849-A180-E2 - Dual Lens 180 Degree Full Color 4K (8MP Stitched) Camera

hahahahah, as I said before certainly not as sleek as the Dahua and (polarizing comment inbound), every time I use or deploy Hik's I remember how bad the web GUI still is in 2023 :(

Worlds First Review - Dahua DH-IPC-PFW5849-A180-E2 - Dual Lens 180 Degree Full Color 4K (8MP Stitched) Camera

I have the Hik in hand (ok big hands :) ). I'm going to grab some simple resolution based video comparisons first and then will do a full blown comparison later. This one will be interesting in terms of showing each resolution the Dahua now offers in 1 timeline with the Hik as well so will be a...

The Importance & My Recommended Usage of I-Frame, CBR vs VBR, Shutter Speed In Your Configurations

Yes, you must separate BI (and some other NVR middleware) from HW based NVR's for sure as we've stated before. Hope this helps and keep the questions coming if you have any on this topic. Glad this has been useful for people

    Review: IDahua DH-ITC-437-PW6M-IZ-GN / LPR-437 - ALPR/ANPR - Traffic & Access Control Camera

Intro I’m pleased to announce we have another Traffic / Access camera to look at, the DH-ITC-437-PW6M-IZ-GN / LPR-437. You’ll recall that I reviewed its 2MP brother last year HERE. The 2MP was no slouch at ALPR/ANPR work and I’m excited to see how this 4MP variant (using the tried and true...

Review: IPC-LPR237B-IR / Equivalent of Dahua ITC237-PW6M-IRLZF1050-B - ANPR, Traffic & Access Control Camera

I'll show off a crazy angle as part of the 437, in fact specifically mounted this way to show what it's capable of. With that said, if you want consistent plate caps that you can take to the bank then YES angle, height and distance to target along with dialing in for speed and light as well as...

Worlds First Review - Dahua DH-IPC-PFW5849-A180-E2 - Dual Lens 180 Degree Full Color 4K (8MP Stitched) Camera

Will be interesting in putting this side by side but for my money, the Dahua is the more attractive and sleeker model ;)
