    SD card. Figured out shortly after posting that it doesn't allow multiple access. A browser on another PC already had Playback open. After closing that browser playback immediately resumed working on mine.

    I've got a DS-2CD2442FWD-IW that I'm accessing directly via a browser. I'm using the latest IE11 and have the HIK ActiveX control installed & enabled (v. 3.0.6.10).
