Yep, I call it "Thermal Differential Cycling" for lack of finding much written up to describe it. Also, I'd avoid using any compressed air, either from a compressor or a can, as it has loads of moisture in it....that's why many air compressors for moisture- sensitive tools and most used by...- TonyR

BI showing main and substreams
In my version it's also available with a right click on the desktop, not just on the camera. I know of many PC users over the years, myself included, get a spastic finger and indavertently bring up the right click context menu then select something on it with a left click.....in the blink of an... -

Can’t Get My 180° Camera to Show on Hikvision NVR
Is there an option in the NVR to select ONVIF for the camera type and use the same username and password for the ONVIF user that you also enabled and created in the camera? -

Connecting cables to outdoor devices without pigtails
Yes, just crimp male RJ-45 with short piece of CAT cable in it so the contacts will retract down (away from the clear plastic) but not all the way as they would with NO wire, that way the grease will more likely stay on the contacts and engage contact surfaces of both connectors. +1^^ going wired with Ethernet/POE. I might also add that regarding the CAT-5e or 6 cable, insure you use solid (not stranded) copper (not CCA/Copper Clad Aluminum) with a jacket rated for the appliaction which in this case would likely be CMR (Riser) for use in-wall, ceilings, floors, between...- TonyR

You can use a NAS. Open BI's built-in "Help", press CNTRL-F (Find), search for "NAS" and read about some considerations to observe in your setup. :cool:- TonyR

Camera to watch over garden
Ageed....IMO, that Tapo is a better choice than the Reolink. Just have to accommodate the 9VDC wall wart. If that is an issue, maybe a passive POE injector and splitter setup can supply enough of the voltage over CAT-5e if not too far. I used this to send 12VDC to a camera 60 feet away in a...- TonyR
