No ! You made the mistake to run only ONE singlemode fiber back then (from my understanding). Now you have to stick to singlemode fiber. Most easy way is to use a converter, like you already do. If the "cable" is a multimode fiber, then it could be possible to get over it. But fiber is not...- duplo

What is a plastic lens cover ? Both turret and bullet has real glass (thin) glued to the housing. Simply use polish ?? -

HP 2530 J9773a you find them cheap on ebay www.ebay.com/itm/176455800113 only downside, no SFP+ , so no 10G uplink its quite (compared to others), cheap and if you get one with a "good" serialnumber , it has lifetime warranty. also low power consumption.- duplo

Will Dahua/Hikvision etc. make a 180 degree camera with IR?
didnt read the spec sheet correctly. sorry. it has IR as overview camera sensor size is Ok. its hard to identify someone on these 180 degree cams. mount them too high (because overview) will give you even worser ability to identify. same with 2.8mm cams. good around 3-5m distance lens <>...- duplo

Yes this is the low budget version of the full color version. andy sell the good version for around 200. But there is no infrared version like the ankee 600 from dahua. the milesight cam has infrared and good sensor/mp ratio. only panoramic series version exist, but not the budget stiched version- duplo

Think they have some special firmware on the covid version, which automatic highlight the temperature of any person on visible view like in your video. maybe the cpu can only do this, thatswhy they removed ivs and other features in the covid firmware. -
