Is demo version full featured? Not lacking ANY features?

Thanks for the answer. Any other features that are disabled or only the D2D? Weeding through posts to quickly know how much percentage CPU I'll save from D2D might prove challenging. I have a ton on my plate at the moment. I'd like to know how much it takes off the CPU budget right now...

    2 networks on 1 computer

I can probably help here but I'm trying to get my head around your install. Hub? I *think* you mean switch as in 100mbps switch (I hope). I'm also not understanding why two cameras need to be on a separate LAN coming to the BI Box. Ok I sorta get it. had to read a few times I'm slow today :)...

    CPU Help - New Here

As a first I'd drop the TeamViewer install just to see if the issue clears up. Then com back to the question after everything is working great if putting TV back on breaks it or CPU usage. TV may have settings that you can tweak to reduce the CPU usage. You also may have options of just...

Is demo version full featured? Not lacking ANY features?

I need to know for a client as we are testing his hardware to see if it will handle the software with a certain number of cameras that he already has etc. Somebody made a comment awhile back that the non purchased software (demo version) Was not fully feature functional. Even though it would...

Blue Iris "broken" not recording after windows update

All camera streams were dead in blue iris but all networking was fine far as could tell as anything else network related was working fine. Restarted Blue Iris, no change all cameras showing not connected/working. Blue Iris software is already up to date. (client updated it a few days ago)...

Blue Iris "broken" not recording after windows update

Don't have all the details yet but I have a client reporting that BlueIris is no longer working for them "Since Windows Updated". I'm guessing it was the Windows 10 creator's update. I don not have any more details yet until I head out to go on site. Their version of Blue Iris was...

True True.. I was just wanting to load it during my testing :) I actually prefer 5000. Needs one H__ of a fast SSD array to keep up with it. But those really cost a lot.

If you want.. If you like: - If you are one of the housekeepers and it's easy.. Maybe move that thread over here. I can kill this one (or maybe you can). And I'll can re-do the personal intro.

This is insanely good help for a guy on a user forum. Its just crazy how much I thought I had a handle on this stuff when I really don't. There's new stuff to learn and experience EVERYWHERE. Even where you least expect it. Thank you.

Thanks Will do. Any real testing or use is without remote desktop. I'm just using it at the moment for convenience. And of course didn't even think about that at first when behavoir changed.

Yep gotya. I was fully expecting to be told to move my questions over here or just to simply not get answered over there. But wanted to include why I signed up for the forum over there on the intro. I probably should not have done that. Didn't really expect the help to play out over there like...

It's a bit freaked out with the direct to disk set. The recording when played back looks frozen complete. Trying a restart on it since that setting.

Just tried setting direct to disk (on 3 cameras) *no other changes to anything* CPU usage went way down to 11% but local displays are only updating once every 5 seconds now.

Thank you so much for you help here!! One (of many) things I don't understand on the reolink cameras is you can set the max bits per second speed along with the resolution and frame rate.. Not sure if that means one should set "8Mbps" which is the upper end to get LESS compression and send more...

Interesting to know odd that support would not point that out to me when I was very specifically asking them what I was experiencing and that I was using the demo with plans to purchase. All great information and insight Thank You! I've really enjoyed the Reolink Cameras standalone outside of...

Thanks! On my own I had already reduced to FR to 15 which made a huge difference. But I'm here to learn and see if there is anything I'm missing to actually be able to do the full 30FPS with more cameras with the high end hardware I am using. Just before you posted I did indeed notice the...

I have been very successfully working with Reolink IP cameras for the past 2 years and have become a huge fan and implementer of them. I've known about Blue Iris for several years but this is my first request to install it for a client. Been testing it myself and found it extremely easy to...

Hi Kevin I'm also a new guy here in Michigan. I'm a computer/network systems guy and am building a nice DVR system for a client. I've been using the inexpensive Reolink bullet style cameras for over two years now. Even for indoor stuff. I've been nothing but happy with the performance and...
