    I have a USB -> TTL adaptor on its way from Amazon. Will just use normal jumpers, don't need the fancy connector ;-)

    Power works fine through POE and through the separate 12v input. I don't think power is the issue. I also don't think there's any hardware network issue because I see the ARP requests and TFTP works. I also see the magic handshake packet over UDP
