    Just an update. Reconfiguration ('relocation') of the NVR went smooth, as planned, and as expected. All cameras preserved their initially assigned IP's, accessible, with no errors whatsoever. Thank you, @alastairstevenson, for your support.

    Thank you very much, alastairstevenson, Appreciate your quick and encouraging response! My network firewall/traffic rules allow any machine on the a.b.1.1 access/manage the new VLAN (not vice-versa, of course), so I expect to be able to open the NVR's interface after the changes. As a backup...
