How to give Ken access to my BI

Ken emailed in response to an issue I'm having and asked me to give him remote IP access to Blueiris. I don't really know what he wants me to do; open a firewall port to let him access my blueiris remotely, or setup come kind of remote PC control for him, or something else. I'm sure he is...

    Cameras reporting no signal

Great. You should report that to the developer. My understanding is that he does not monitor the forums

    Cameras reporting no signal

In my case I could eliminate both CPU and memory issues (I run on an i7 with 8gb memory, and CPU stays well under 10% and memory used is around a 1/2 gb). Also, there weren't wifi or camera issues as far as I could tell, as I could access the cameras directly without issue, and the camera...

    Cameras reporting no signal

I agree, I never understood how Trend Micro could be interfering off and on. I even put in an exclusions so that everything in the blue iris directory was excluded from scanning, but that made no difference. I'd love to hear how things go for you if you turn avg off for a while...

    Cameras reporting no signal

I went through a similar issue in December and thought it was Blue Iris related (I have six Sharx cameras, a mix of wired and wireless). It cleared up when I turned off anti-virus (I was using Trend Micro). Now I don't know if blue iris started doing something differently that anti virus...

Great camera; I have a total of six Sharx cameras, and we that bullet camera on my driveway. I experienced a problem several months back when I changed the recording settings. Trying switching to the BVR format under Record settings. I never figured out why changing recording format lost my...

    Many many No Signals

Thanks for your reply. The cameras do go back online, and I do have Watchdog set. But I am open to suggestions about how to track down a firewall or anti-virus problem. The firewall is definitely not going offline, although that doesn't mean its not cause the problem. But since not all the...

    Many many No Signals

I've been running Blue Iris for years, and I recently noticed a giant volume of No Signals on my cameras (system has i7 processor, lots of memory, 6 cameras, 4 wired, 2 on wifi, and generally runs at under 7% CPU usage). After tracking this down I confirmed the cameras were not rebooting, so I...
