Hi, did you manage to figure this one out? I'm also a little confused as to the difference between the "Arming Schedule" under Motion/Basic Event and the "Record Schedule" under Schedule settings... after some messing around (ie; turning the record schedule off but leaving the arming schedule...- Nayto

Okay soooo...... I feel like such an idiot, but I dug up an old switch from the shed and it made ALL the difference... once everything was plugged into the switch the tftp service activated every time I rebooted the camera. I think using a patch lead between PC/Camera wasn't giving it enough... -

Can confirm I've covered all the requirements off, other than I'm not using a switch - I just have the camera connected directly to the PC via a patch lead. I did it this same way originally and didn't have any issues, I still get the first few "boot" pings from 0.64 fine but tftp updater just... -

Thanks for the quick reply, decided to go ahead with the full upgrade - the only problem is, the camera won't seem to grab the firmware using the HikVision update now? I have it setup exactly as I did before when using Zork's method and that time it detected the camera and uploaded the file... -
