    Upload video to FTP ?

    I have setup my router and a harddisk to work as an FTP server, and it works just fine. In the iVMS-4200 software under "Remote config - Network - FTP" I can connect to the FTP server, but I don't see any video recording. How can this be, and what can I do ? - Kim -

    When I look in the camera NAT setting, I can see Internal port 8000 and External port 8006 - is that setting ok ? I try to reach my cam at port 8000 from the outside, not port 8006

    Right now it seems to me that my OpenVPN works just fine - but no connecting to my camera. I'm on a wifi miles away from home with my Mac Book. When I look at my IP I got my home's wan IP. When i enter 10.0.0.1 I get access to my router. My Mac book is on 10.1.0.6, my camera is on 10.0.0.100...

    I have an Asus app on my phone, which I use to connect to my router with, while on my WiFi. It can't connect either when on the VPN connection. So I guess it must be a problem with the VPN connection or my router. But the VPN connection from my phone to my router, seems to be OK.

    I could not get the dynamic dns to work, but the VPN works just fine. Now I just need to connect my app to my camera.

    I never thought about using a VPN - actually I have never setup an VPN before, but it sounds like something I should try. Can I still use the iVMS-4500 HD app on my phone, or does I need another app, if I change to a VPN ? - Kim -

    I did change the port away from default and back again to 8000, but it did not help. I use the iVMS-4500 HD app on my Android. It works fine on LAN, but not on WAN. Using canyouseeme.org says that the port I use is closed. - Kim -

    Just to be sure. The SADP tool is used to find the camera and to add an IP address to it. Is that correct ?

    Uninstalling and installing SAPD did work the first time I open the software. I could see my old and new camera. I then closed SADP and opened it again, and now my two cameras are gone again. I'll try to install WinPCap
