    Is there a setting that must be checked off on in Blue Iris to enable Quick Sync? If not, how do I know it is enabled and working. I am currently using the Demo version to try it out and see how it works with my setup. Does Direct to Disk and Quick Sync work in Demo mode?

    What about spiders and other insects getting into the dome area? Is that a common problem? I am using the 4mp Qsee from Costco in the particular location but have been debating returning it and getting a two camera bullet cam bundle for about $50 more.

    I like the way TinyCam displays that information for you, even in the free version. I don't see that info (resolution/fps/kbs) in IP Cam Viewer Basic. Not sure if you can see that info in the paid version.

    I see from a few posts that many are not to keen on dome cams for outdoor use. Would a covered front porch still be a bad place for a dome camera? I live in South Florida so insects are definitely a concern but the Dome cam I was thinking of using seems to be pretty securely encased.

    Kawboy - Yes, I see that setting on tiny cam and it does work. However, when using ip Cam Viewer Basic is where I think it is still broadcasting the main stream. Maybe the pro version shows the actual resolution?
