Deepstack Timeout
For over a week i'm not getting any alerts from any of my cameras. All are using Deepstack. Nothing changed (that i know of) has worked for months but now deepstack timesout before detecting anything. Turn deepstack off and i get alerts but with it on it timesout. Any ideas? Josh -

PTZ Presets and Triggering

Only 1 day of alerts showing up
FIxed! Thanks everyone, right clicking a clip and choosing repair/regenerate did the trick. I have alerts showing up since that day for all cameras (only had to repair one clip from any camera). Thanks for the suggestion bp2008! -

BI not connecting
I've been using BI on the local network only (haven't port forwarded yet) all was fine. Had a power outage for 10 seconds and now can't log in. BI working fine on server computer. Double checked all ip addresses (server is static ip), user name and passwords. When trying to login just hangs...- flyboy68

Good point and I do during the night. Not necessarily during the day when i'm outside and it goes off all time. More wanted it when we are all gone and at night.- flyboy68

All my cameras record continuously. I'm wanting to use geo as more of a security feature. When me and my wife are gone, i want an alert if someone pulls in driveway or walks up to the front door, etc.- flyboy68

Ok so I got both phones going in and out of the geo. Problem is when both are out of the geo it's not switching to profile 3. I have both phones as admins and the commands on entering and exiting the geo are identical. And both are set to "only if ALL devices are set outside" on the exit, not...- flyboy68

Alerts: Push notifications vs SMS
Ok figured out images aren't sent in a test via push. An actual alert will send an image as long as it's not through a manual test. This would make push's more desirable. Still curious if a gif can be sent via text?- flyboy68

I personally don't like the triggered alerts via "Push Notification" vs getting a text message. With the push notification you can get an image but it's too small and if you click on it, it just sends you to the app. Am i missing something? The sms text message is way better cause you can...- flyboy68

It worked! But it stays in Profile 3 when re entering the geo. Guess i need to set it to go back to profile 1 while in the geo? Figured it would just undo the action when re entering....- flyboy68

I believe you're correct....here's the screenshot. I probably need to set the initial profile (normal is profile 1) then the second screen needs the "Set profile" checked and make that profile 3?- flyboy68

Ok I got it to recognize me going in and out. Once both phones are out it’s not switching to profile 3. My first post shows pic of that setup screen. There were several options, I must have it wrong?- flyboy68

Outdoor Cam using a ton of space
Using 2 IPC-HDW2231R-ZS starlight outdoor cam's recording continuous. I have the clips set to 4 hrs before creating a new clip. With little to no activity the 4 hr clip is usually around 6 gb each. My indoor cameras average around 3-5 gb w/ a lot of activity. All cameras are 1080p, is this... -

Mic not working BI5
Got an indoor cam (Amcrest) that now doesn't transmit sound when using the BI app and Mic button. Using the Amcrest app the mic works fine, has to be a Blue Iris issue then? Seemed to work fine after upgrading to BI5 but now nothing. Got another indoor camera that is working fine using Mic... -

Something maybe worth noting...when on the BIPC i cannot login to the camera that's giving me fits via ip address. Go to another computer in my house and i can login just fine. If I had any hair left i'd pull it out... -

Camera not recording
So I changed from "Direct-to-disk" to "Re-encode with settings:" and it plays the clips now. The quality isn't great on the playback but it's working! Anyone know why "Direct-to-disk" would be causing issues????? All the other cameras are setup with direct to disk and work perfect. -
