    I think your camera is broken. You can try to hard reset the camera, but I think it's hardware related.

    Sounds like a overheating problem to me. Maybe you can try a PoE injector as an alternative power source? Does the camera feels hot when the video is crap?

    kinda weird. Did you also tried to use your previous password? The password which you used before the reset? my hdbw4431 does a factory reset in 8 seconds. I can see that when the IR leds are active after holding the reset button when the camera is powered.

    You should use your web access account which you have created in the initial setup. Did you create that account? Edit: Red you did a factory reset. Then it would be admin/admin indeed.

    When the camera starts responding to the ping command try to connect via configtool via port 3800 and see if the camera stays online. If so then you can apply the firmware via the configtool.

    I have exactly the same on my HDBW4431R-ZS. It came with the 20161209 firmware and I downgraded it with the NAND-Eos firmware from the OP. The easy4IP and DDNS services are not working. That's weird because I used this firmware before and not had any troubles. I have hard reset the camera...

    I hope the door light at position 4 will not overlight the camera lens when its on. Check and see what the light will do when its dark. Sometimes you have to play with the day/night settings to get the best results.
