I've made those adjustments... I'll probably have to delete old clips to have it make any difference though at this point... there are 600,000 clips right now lol. CPU still stays at about 30% and HDD is never more than about 10 MB/s write.... but it still takes about 10-15 seconds for the GUI...
what are some suggestions to reduce disk reads/writes? either too many clips is causes the GUI to slow to a halt or the disk read/writting is over loading it... but the write never goes above like 10 Mb/s so I'm unsure......
Hello! I have a 36 camera system. 24 TB of storage, CPU usage stays at about 30-40%.. i'll keep 9 cameras up on the live view in full screen.. and there are a few cameras that will occasionally freeze for a few seconds and then go back to normal... ideas? what can cause this?
what if you add the group to the url? then you can just do
var params={};window.location.search.replace(/[?&]+([^=&]+)=([^&]*)/gi,function(str,key,value){params[key] = value;});
if ( params[group] != '' )
{
load_group(params[group])
}
no? maybe? :numbness:
I have another request for the reconnect stuff pleeeeaaaasssseeeee :) lets say I have 3 different browsers open on the same computer and each is opened to a different group. if the connection drops, when it reconnects they don't go back to the groups they were on before.. usually all 3 will go...
okay I have one more request please :D :D :D
in the event that the network drops on the local machine, your reconnect stuff doesn't work D:
you get the broken image icon thing, and in the console
Failed to load resource: net::ERR_INTERNET_DISCONNECTED
Failed to load resource...
doesn't go full screen? please make it true full screen as in it goes over the taskbar? I know you can make the taskbar auto hide, but it still takes up a pixel or two, and this causes the layout to be uneven and kinda ugly....
thanks!
errrrrr... so I've gotten 40 cameras added so far and the CPU is staying at around 25% .... i really i hope i'm not fucking something up haha, cuz this is pretty great so far

fucking XEON baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yeah this is all kind of an experiment for me. this is gonna be a smaller system for now, but my next build which will be a much much larger system I'm probably gonna go with 2x SuperStorage Server 6028R-E1CR12N each with 2x E5-2640 v3 2.60GHz. We'll see....
soooooo then, for the next system build I do, think the Ten-Core Intel® Xeon® Processor E5-2660 v3 2.60GHz 25MB Cache (105W) could handle 1080p ? or maybe even the Twelve-Core Intel® Xeon® Processor E5-2690 v3 2.60GHz 30MB Cache (135W)
????
Hello! I have about 30 of these cameras with the wrong mounts. I need mounts that will extend out about 12" - 14" or more... is there such thing for these cameras? is there maybe a universal one? thanks...
yup >_< one of the disks in the raid array failed. seems that solved the ghosting issue also..... hahaha fuck!!!! hey, thanks!!!!!!! you guys are amazing
Hello! I have about 35 cameras running on a 6 core haswell. I only keep a group of 9 cameras up. CPU load stays at about 50% the entire day. All the video from the live view is not laggy and is fine. however whenever I try to do anything in BI it takes a good 4-5 seconds to respond. thoughts?
orz. okay very sorry but I was wrong. the ghosting is still there.... what else can I try? network buffer is at 10. I tried all different types of FPS settings and iframe settings...
another question please.... I have the cameras set to 12 fps and 24 i frame... but in BI i have the fps set at 25 and I believe that fixed the ghosting. if I have the direct to disk enabled, will that fps in BI make much difference? what will the repercussions be I guess if I leave it that...
Hello! Anyone know how to access the Dahua cameras motion detection? Like with the hikvision you can go to /IO/outputs/1/status/ to get the xml etc?!?!?!
Hello! I have a bunch of Dahua cams that are ONVIF 2.4.1 and I can't seem to get the motion detection portion to work using the cameras motion detection and not BI motion detection. How can I troubleshoot this exactly?
thanks....
they are all Dahua IPC-HDW4300S and I believe they are ONVIF 2.1. hmmmm last issue I've noticed also... haha. I have FTP max connections set to 10 and it's still only uploading a single file at a time? I tested the ftp server from elsewhere and was able to upload 10+ files at once
thanks for...
hmmmm. I could only get it to not ghost by setting 30 fps in camera and blue iris, and then 60 i frame :\ now my CPU usage is getting really high.... I'll need to keep messing with that I guess... another question I had. Can the camera motion trigger stuff be requested or added in? I don't think...
