    Any luck with 4mp at night with IR?

    Rotate the camera in the mount. And then invert the image in the software I assume. I may try this myself to get my ir away from my building. The only problem I can see is the sensor will be pointing up, not sure if this is an issue or not. Worth a shot ;)

    I had disabled motion & didn't setup continuous. I set the time to central but it was off by 1 hour, noticed this after setting up continuous. Seems to be recording now :) Also found the button to turn on live view automatically but only shows up in sub stream, is there a way to have multiview...

    Another strange thing, I can access the Nvr via my computer but when I try accessing it directly via Nvr mouse it tells me the password is wrong. I'm very confused...

    Something changed, not sure what. I didn't make any changes to my system but the cam went to night mode. The Avertx cam stayed in day mode, it's mounted next to the hik cam. This is confusing. ..

    Main Stream (4MP) + NVR no go

    I don't know if this will be helpful or not but I have a LTN8816-P16 with 4mp cams & mainstream is working fine using H.264. Bear in mind I have no idea what I'm doing ;) I can't even figure out the port forwarding thing....LOL

    To start I would like to thank fenderman for directing me to this site and all his help. I bought a Avertx system from Costco that I have been unhappy with the quality, it's not bad but I hope to do better. Looking forward to learning from everyone and hope to not be too big a bother. Michael
