    I have finished setting this up and everything is working nicely now except I can not access the damn cameras directly via the browser I need to remove or change the default hikvision passwords. I had to change the port to 85 bec my isp wouldnt let me open port 80 unless I upgraded my internet...

    I have setup port fwding and ddns and I am unable to login to any of the cameras I have tried different ports but not able to access the cameras in order for me to change the default password or remove the camera passwords I need to change the nvr password bec right now its just the company...

    its optimum online router and when you login you gotta do it via their own website, so they control everything and they told me that in order for me to open port 80 I would have to upgrade my package which is stupid. I am thinking about opening port 85 instead that I can do... what do you think

    finally got them all to work turned out the non working camera was defective, it wasnt the wiring. everything looks good now I am using the iphone app and I am using browser and the hikvision desktop software. Thanks to all for the help. I will be setting up port fwding now

    I am using the app and I am unable to login from anywhere but my home network. I dont have static IP otherwise this would have been a walk in the park Would you please help me or tell me what I need to do regarding this so I can setup "vpn" or port fwd ecc No idea how to do that. Thank you

    Finally got cameras to work nicely doesn't say unsupported stream type I connected to my network logged in and switched to h264+ but I will change it to 264 now Question is how do I change the nvr to 264? the only place I can not playback is when accessing via browser otherwise it does...
