Cannot get IP camera to work

Here are two screenshots. One of the camera in SADP. And the other one is of the camera configuration in my browser. The IP is different.

Cannot get IP camera to work

Okay guys. I think we may be getting somewhere with support from HIKvision. They sent me an email this morning requesting the XML file. I plugged in a different camera this morning and opened it up in SADP. Initially, it showed an IP address of 192.168.254.xx. However, the gateway field was...

Cannot get IP camera to work

No, when the cameras are plugged into the NVR. You can't see them in SADP. I'll report back when I have some more news.

Cannot get IP camera to work

I can see the camera in the SADP And can see the IP address. I'll see how my friend gets on with the box and cameras. If he doesn't have any luck. Then I will have another go. Thanks

Cannot get IP camera to work

Yes. If I set the box back to factory default when you get to the section where you plug the camera in and then click search. The NVR doesn't seem to recognise the camera that is plugged in.

Cannot get IP camera to work

I'm able to access my NVR with a password. One of the cameras is activated and we know the password. However, the box still won't recognise it. Would it be worth deactivating the camera and starting over? If the box is still good, then I don't need to replace that. Maybe I could just get two...

    Review-OEM Loryta IPC-T5442T-ZE Varifocal 4mp camera (Dahua)

Let's put aside the cameras for one moment and just talk about the NVR. I'm able to log into the box okay. One of the cameras is working and we know the password for it. However, we are still not able to get it to work with the box. Where exactly are we going wrong? It might be the case...

Cannot get IP camera to work

I'm more than happy with the quality of the picture I get from my system. Obviously, not having a reset button has turned out to be a massive inconvenience. I have now got to rely on Hikvision to issue new passwords. And as of yet they don't seem to be offering any help whatsoever. I suppose...

Cannot get IP camera to work

Okay. I will certainly take that advice on board. I've seen a nice little package with eight bullet cameras.

Cannot get IP camera to work

Thanks guys, I'm glad I found this place. I wish I'd found it before I bought all these other cameras :-) :-). Anyway, you're going to get fed up with me asking questions, so I will apologise now. The amount of money I have wasted is ridiculous. I just need three or four cameras and one dome...

Cannot get IP camera to work

My friend has got one of the cameras working through his PC. So we know the IP address and the password. If he plugs the camera into the NVR. I'm assuming you will have to do click on the little edit symbol next to the camera and manual and then enter in the IP address of the camera? Is that...

Cannot get IP camera to work

Oh well, maybe second time around I can get it done properly. I'm seeing a lot of these NVR boxes being sold on Amazon. However, it appears that you have to buy the hard drive separately.

Cannot get IP camera to work

Thank you. I will take your word for it. If I'm going to spend several hundred pounds that I want something that is going to work properly.

Cannot get IP camera to work

If I have to purchase another system than the cameras and the NVR will all be the same make.

Cannot get IP camera to work

My situation can't get any worse. I can't fault the quality of the picture. They were very, very good. However, I just think it's absolutely ridiculous that I am in the situation. And as for the company themselves. I don't know. It's not a good way to treat your customers.

Cannot get IP camera to work

I think you are right. Little bit reluctant to go back down the Hik vision route again. If I have to buy new equipment I might look at a different brand. Any recommendations?

Cannot get IP camera to work

I have almost resigned myself to the fact that I am going to be shopping for a new CCTV system in the next few days. Problem is, I'm disabled, so I have to rely on other people to do it for me. If I could do it by myself then I would be able to dedicate a lot more time myself. I thought that...

Cannot get IP camera to work

I had hoped one of my dome cameras had a reset button. But when we removed the top pair to be one anywhere. At the moment I have a bullock type camera plugged into a POE and I can see it on my network. I don't think this one has got a reset button. Hikvision IPC-B121H-Ma 2.8mm HiWatch

Cannot get IP camera to work

Unless HikVision pull their fingers out of their backside and help me retrieve the passwords then I'm up the creek without a paddle.

Cannot get IP camera to work

Basically, I'm screwed. I might as well just give up now because this is getting more complicated by the minute. Oh well, this is been a very expensive learning curve.

Cannot get IP camera to work

One thought. One of the cameras that I recently purchased has been activated, and I know the password. However, that still won't work when we plug into the NVR. What settings do you have to manipulate in order to get the box to work with this camera that we know the password to ?

Cannot get IP camera to work

My mate isn't getting any further than me. HikVision have corresponded with me on Twitter and have said they would contact support for me if I gave them my email information. Whether they will remains to be seen. But I'm afraid that if we can't resolve this issue then my whole system is a...

Cannot get IP camera to work

Okay, slight progress. I entered 192.168.1.254 manually Into the gateway field section. Then I clicked the little DHCP box and tried to enter a password, which got rejected. However, the IP address Of the camera than changed to 192.168.1.221.

Cannot get IP camera to work

SADP Is obviously detecting the IP camera on the network. However, I can't do anything to manipulate the IP address. For some reason it's not filling in the gateway. If you look at the image I attached. A few days ago, it would change to a proper IP address, I think it was 192.168.1.221...
