    Sadly the quality starts degrading quickly over 20' with a 4mm and 40' with a 6mm and faces start to get to grainy to really make out clearly.     I have a 2032 with a 4mm lens mounted at the top corner of a garage door looking down the driveway. At 40' faces start to really break up and at 70' you would have to know them to recognize them. I think one with a 6mm lens would do well above your garage door on the right (not trash bin side)...

    Thanks folks. I'm just going to cut some long patches and play. It won't be the first time I've wasted wire before and if I do it right I'll still be able to use the wire for permanent runs. Might as well keep one long patch because I know this will not be the last cameras I will buy.

    I do not see any evidence of it combining files, but I have gotten a couple of 45-60 minute videos. I did not watch the time stamp on them so they could have been stacked. I dropped it to 15 minutes hoping to avoid that. Changed the pre-trigger to 30.

    Last night we had triggering twice and recorded for 10 minutes the first time and 14 the second. However, nothing was recorded when my wife put our son in the van and drove off in a Toyota van. In the videos that were recorded there was nothing but a few very small insects flying around.
