Dahua 2MP 25x Starlight IR PTZ Network Camera (SD49225T-HN)

When I opened it up to put a SD card inside I had seen one. under the fan area there is a round film type disc with a wire in it. The film is a dark yellow is color. It sure looked like a small heater pad to me and being next to the fan makes sense. The fan could be dual purpose : help to...

Dahua 2MP 25x Starlight IR PTZ Network Camera (SD49225T-HN)

Use the camera arm seal between the arm and box. Two seals come with the box but the front seal will not seal the cable hole on the bottom of the arm .

Internet Speeds: What do you have?

Fiber hits my ONT and I had them turn on the Ethernet port . My router not Verizon's is plugged into the ONT unit. When I did that the speeds jumped up. COAX is only used for the TV . The Verizon router for the TV box programming has to run through my router and then feed the data to the STB's.

Not certain on the POE switch to the NVR. Like I said I have not set one up like that so until I do I can not provide you with that knowledge. I know a few other members have. Either they will chime in or attach a link to another thread that may contain that info. Sorry I don't want to give bad...

Ethernet Splitter to see cameras on network ? ?

My old NVR did not have POE so I had that one hooked into a POE switch. I now have the 5416 with POE. My cameras are currently wired directly to the NVR. Currently I have not had the time to test wiring the cams to a POE switch and then to the NVR POE ports so I am not certain how stable that...

NICE! Use the GOLF !!! Suspension mods , tub it out , drop it lower and the bitch will hug the road!!! Sounds like you have it under control. Check the wiring schm on the rear cam. Most of the time they tie in a hard switch, ground or shifter position sensor so it will only activate in...

    Best teeny tiny camera options?

I would pull down one of those soffit covers and look inside. maybe they left the 2 x 6 walls exposed on the left or right. If there is a basement below and the power feeds run up those walls you can fish cable. Flexible fiberglass wire fishing poles are the best. Remove the baseboard in the...

I have the 5416 16p . Is the NVR acting like a Switch or are the camera feeds all branching off in the NVR to record on separate channels ? If I ran all the cameras through a POE ( I have ) then connect the POE switch to channel 1 of the NVR will the NVR recognize each camera individually and...
