This is outstanding, thank you @drunkpenguin. Without the generosity and knowledge on this forum I'd still be in the ip cam stone age.

Automatically select Day or Night profile based on whether it's Day or Night?

Can Dahua cams automatically select day or night profiles based on whether the camera is in day (color) or night (BW + IR) mode? From what I can tell it can only be changed manually or via a fixed daily schedule.

WTS Hikvision DS-7616NI-SE NVR for sale

I bought this Hikvision NVR two years ago intending it to replace my Zoneminder system but I ended up going with BI so I never used it. Open box but brand new, 16 channels, two sata ports, supports Hikvision and 3rd party cams, supports ONVIF, up to 5 MP recording, audio + video recording, PTZ...

How do these camera locations look? (diagram attached)

As a general rule try to have cameras "chase" each other such that each cam is in view of another, to create overlapping coverage. Not always possible but something to consider. Also, where possible avoid aiming your cameras in a southerly direction towards the sun (northerly if you're in the...

Dewarping Capabilities of Dahua Fisheye IPC-EBW8630-IVC

Thanks for the info. I don't have one yet. Are you able to record dewarped streams on Blue Iris? That's what I want to do. I'm hoping each stream can act as a virtual PTZ camera which can be recorded and controlled in Blue Iris.

Dewarping Capabilities of Dahua Fisheye IPC-EBW8630-IVC

It's the web interface of the camera, not the stream. It's unclear whether the camera is able to stream the dewarped view in addition to merely showing it in its web interface. Hence my question.

I just tried FF 57 with these settings. Works ok until you click on a live camera in full frame view to return to all camera view, then hangs on the reload. Have to close the tab and re-open the page. Other than that - any downside to simply enabling these features in FF permanently?

Dewarping Capabilities of Dahua Fisheye IPC-EBW8630-IVC

Can the main stream of this camera show multiple dewarped views like the 4-up view on the right side of the attached screenshot, or does it only stream the raw fisheye view? Side question, is there any difference between the IPC-EBW8630-IVC version and the N68BR4V listed on the US website?

Please consider adding an option to enable/disable the camera name+timestamp overlay during playback. Maybe also allow the user to choose its position in the frame when it is enabled. In my case it's clobbering the camera timestamp since they're both in the exact same top-left position. Also...

POE Switch recommendation (20 ports or more) for a Blue Iris setup

You can pick up a used 24 port Netgear FS727TP on eBay for <$100 <$60. 24 100mbps POE ports and 4 gigabit non-POE ports. I use them for phones, cameras, they work great. If you need/want 24 gigabit POE ports you have the Netgear GS727TP. Well-bought used is around $100-125.

This may sound crazy but it would be really cool if the audio for group streams were in stereo so the L-R position of each camera's sound lined up with the L-R position of the camera frame in the browser.

Confirmed 56.0.2. The audio control appears when the cursor is in the video frame as gray with diagonal line through it. Clicking it toggles the volume slider to/from zero with no change to the grayed-out speaker icon. I'm not sure how to test H.264 streaming. I can only select JPEG...

Looking real good on Firefox 56.0.2 and Safari 10.0.3 running on OSX Yosemite 10.10.5. One issue: Audio is not working yet, unmuting the audio icon doesn't work so no audio (on either FF or Safari). Works in ui2. Love the overall look and the server mini dashboard is sweet.
