There was an older post that showed how to take one apart but I can't find it. If you get it apart there will only be one tiny button in it to reset. Sometimes it's not obvious. Watch the face of the camera when putting back together. I had some gasket near the lens, make sure it's lined up...- Bryan

Don't know much but once the password is set in the nVR for the cameras it expects that password. If you unplug a camera from power then power it up, it appears on the NVR under remote, but it resets the password to the original (admin). If you don't get the correct password for that camera...- Bryan

Thanks, that helped a lot. Dang thing kept adding the next camera to channel 5. Think they would have a feature to just add the channel manually. -

On a post from someone else that I saw long ago, they suggested not upgrading firmware on cameras if they are working fine and do what you want. Might apply to other stuff.- Bryan

I'm having something similar with my GDMSS. Was working fine for a month or so with push notifications coming within 10 seconds after the alarm was triggered. Here in the last 3 weeks it can be delayed several hours between alarm and notification. Any idea what might be causing this? -

Got IVS working like you said..hooking laptop directly to POE port and using browser. Wouldn't do it before from NVR and from SmartPSS on laptop. Also the SmartPlan menu with the lightbulb icon (yellow = on) was funny...reckon each camera has it's own software. Thanks a bunch.. -

Yes..got AVG...and I started looking through the IPs.. a lot are Google, the 31.13.65.7 and similar were Facebook, one was Taiwan and another from India. If the ACK is zero...does that mean it's safe (no contact)? How concerned should I be? The blank IPs are my Public WAN address. -

Dahua Web plugin has stopped working in Firefox
I had the same problem..but found even though I could not view the video on my laptop because the plugin would not install, I could still make changes to the camera settings. I just watched the picture changes on my NVR monitor. -
