    I had a problem with a new DVR changed the password on first boot up, then it would not accept it ! Wasted a huge amount of time because of it. The secret is create another super user once you have logged in this way if it plays games you have access. [Make sure you tick all the access options tho]

    this worked OK I have 4 cams on on POE port. I did notice this new 32ch DVR`s password security policy wont let any cams run if they don't have a strong password. Yet they wont let you change the "admin" login FAIL !

    "IP wise" as in its probably a POE network switch so you could have 255 IP`s on one port, not that you would do that. I have used a switch inline before with one of these ports and I can access the whole sub-network [all the cameras and DVR] I do this to tweak the camera settings at night.

    Update, HIKusa got back to me with a bunch of codes for the next week Kudos to them I thought that was the last I would hear from them. They gave me a warning about grey imports maybe the "protected" local dealers need to stop charging four times the price for this DVR ! I can now login !

    Good first effort, you need a camera over-viewing the whole out-front [2.8mm lens] move the current camera down about a meter to catch the faces.     Its a bit blurry, typical of default settings and lack of IR where the shutter is going down to 1/25 this is false economy a trap for all . You need more IR and crank the shutter to at least 1/100 or more. Also you need one overview camera and other fixed lens like 16mm targeting just the shed...
