NVR5XXX-4KS2 latest new firmware.
Are these functions added since DH_NVR5XXX-4K_Eng_V3.215.0000000.1.R.20170901? Both versions are V3.215.00000001 but the new version has another 8KB of code. Is the difference only multi-language support, as would be implied by the same V3.215.0000001 base, or is this string meaningless? Thanks -

@dzimm27 - there have long been issues with daylight savings time. A simple workaround is to just uncheck the daylight savings time option and then change your time zone twice a year.- Inigo

For the NVR5216-4KS2 (without PoE ports) the power supply is an external brick, so the internal heat load is lessened (as is the noise). @Crazykiller Most of the cameras in this order from @EMPIRETECANDY came with general .15 firmware showing "IP Camera". I don't believe that Andy installed it, as he is still trying to get a copy to send me to update the two that came with the .14 firmware. -

Having problem getting the time to sync.
I am under the impression that your NVR is behind a firewall and the only way to access it is through a VPN. Did you add a firewall rule to open Port 123 to and from the NVR IP to get time sync from utcnist.colorado.edu?- Inigo
