Dahua NVR connecting to Hikvision Camera but not displaying image or recording.

Is the camera connected to any other NVR or Nas etc? Something else pulling down the streams from the camera? I have a camera here that would connect fine on both my nvrs but would only display on one of them. It took me longer than it should have to figure out it was because the camera could...

I Ordered an Axis Communications Axis Q1808-LE Camera

I have a camera that will not hold its own time without a link to an NTP server of some sort. If I log into the camera webpage it automatically syncs the time to my computer but after that point it starts to drift until at some point it decides it's 1970. So if your camera is doing the same...

    360° outdoor for pole mount?

You'll probably need to modify another vendor's mount. They're just a plate with screw clamps attached. All you need are holes on the plate to aligned with the holes on your camera.

You can get pole mounting brackets.

    LaView NVR HDD Upgrade question

What size drive were you planning to use in it? Just about any size should work unless you're going very large. Remember when a NVR manufacturer says the NVR supports up to XTB drive, that just means either that was the highest available at that time or they only tested up to that high. It...

Any Dahua NVRs that support DUAL HDMI output?

Sounds like you might need a bigger screen. I don't think what you're asking is possible.

Official FULL SmartPSS Windows & Mac versions from Dahua with working P2P connections and without 64 camera limit...

I just tried to make a favourites list and you're right it just puts them in order or channel number. It has a sort option there but it doesn't actually allow you to move any of them.

old SmartPSS (v2.003) cannot connect to Dahua NVR starting today, but SmartPSS lite can.

i would hope not, but if you can determine the encryption used for the hashing it could potentially be unhashed.

HUGE RUMOR: Unifi Protect will support ONVIF cameras (like from HIK/Dahua)

You really do like to make things more difficult don't you? Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. Is there anything else on that switch besides the camera network? If not just use as layer 2. Add the vlans to it, with your device ports as access mode on the camera vlan and your uplink...

HUGE RUMOR: Unifi Protect will support ONVIF cameras (like from HIK/Dahua)

Does the UDM have teleport? That's a zero config vpn setup. If you haven't already, make sure you block inter vlan traffic in your network (because it's not blocked by default, thus kind of defeating the purpose of using the vlans in the first place) and then add a rule to allow traffic from...
