you need to look at the voltage requirement on your chime too. if its rated 16VAC you may have a problem using 24 Vac on it. -

are you referring to hikvision firmware 180515 using the 6003 one? what firmware do you have? i had the 171114 originally and it occasionally had a few second gap in the motion triggered video. after upgraded it to 171219 i did not see any more gap in time. maybe firmware plays a big roll here. -

since i got both rca and laview doorbells a few months ago i had tested them extensively. your problem of not seeing the replay clip captured by motion detection but saw the alert counted up was that your doorbell logged out of your phone app (most likely it appeared offline on your phone app)... -

Did anyone here try upgrading RCA cam firmware using LaView or Clare or other brand firmware? i upgraded RCA firmware from 171114 to 171127 suggested by the phone app. it's better but still the not stable enough. I had to reboot the camera at least twice today to get live video to my phone app... -

Did you initially use the iVMS-4200 or similar software to set up the camera? the iVMS-4200 has the ability to change not only IP of the camera but also port number and some other features. if you changed those at setup i guess the phone apps have no way to map the changes and thus cannot show... -

your camera firmware shows it's in the December 2017 so it's very capable of showing the camera on the web browser. the only problem you should have in the web browser is to download those plug-in. I have IE, chrome, and firefox. all three have to download their corresponding plug-in to show... -

if you don't see the motion detection area in the phone app, you may not have enabled it in the configuration. I am just guessing all possibilities. you can enable motion detection from the web browser with your local IP of the camera. then sign in using admin username then type in password that... -

I also suspected the same thing. i originally signed up in the laview app. laview one was the first one i bought and then i bought other brands later but was able to use laview and hikvision apps to combine all. now only the laview app works. -
