I have a Tuxedo Touch Wi-Fi Panel as well and have tried numerous combinations since I've installed my doorbell but couldn't get any of the RTSP url's to stream. I don't believe our Hikvision doorbell is compatible with the Tuxedo. That is the one reason I still hang on my two Amcrest ProHD... -

Yeah, mine was originally build 17114 offered and then went up to 171127 while other rebrands were already at 171218/9 revs. Maybe if enough customers request for firmware update to disable IR and disable not available messages(or allow to use custom mp3), Hik will add it to their priority list... -

Could be a bad unit as it shouldn't require that much effort to read the QR code. I never tried the manual adding so not sure if that would help in your case either. -

Yesterday, I enabled the Power Booster setting on my doorbell config for fun but couldn't tell any difference. It probably needs that external optional Power Booster unit before any benefits can be realized as my voltage was already at 19V. It's a wait and see till that US power booster unit... -

Yes, that sounds about right. I recall having to move my phone back and forth to get it to read the QR code(hear the beep tone). I recall there were two methods so maybe try both route where the other method was scan the QR code on the doorbell itself and proceed to connect to wifi, register...
