Yes, it was on the older versions of apps but was removed recently. Their developers probably reviewed the data from the cloud for app users and seeing the chime option would've been setup initially and barely anyone goes back into that setting to upgrade from mechanical->digital or no chime... -

I started out 3 yrs ago with a username(RCA and Hik). Then when username broke a few years ago between RCA/Hik/Ezviz, I switched to email address that was already registered with my username so that it continues to work across the various apps. Never added phone number to my profile. -

Thanks for the Sage sensor information. I received my Sage doorbell sensor from ebay last night for $5 and have just installed it and paired to SmartThings for push notification. Much cheaper than the other relay/dry contact solutions I was contemplating on later this year. -

I didn't try rolling back to Laview as I didn't want to push my luck as it already took 30 minutes troubleshooting before I decided to just upgrade to Ezviz 191211 firmware to get it to register successfully. My NVR had to be reconfigured back to record RTSP instead of ONVIF for the doorbell... -

Shucks, there goes my theory that the other variants might have slightly different board revisions to allow Alexa/Google and disable outdoor bell sound in latest Ezviz firmware 191211. Ezviz cloud might be blocking certain features by device serial number. -
