    Access is very limited that way. Many more configuration options are avail directly on the cameras. That’s why they had the link. Bottom line, it’s not worth the hassle to use the new firmware if I lose needed functionality. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    The issue is that my network is on the 192.168.1.1 network and the cams are using Dahua’s 10.1.x.x network segment for the PoE ports so they are not reachable unless I change my PC or Mac to the 10 network to get access. I wasn't able to see mine while I was on the 192.0.0.128 network either but when I reconnected everything and started up SADP it popped up with an IP of 0.0.0.0...

    The Flir NVR (made by Dahua) doesn't let me turn off syncing with the cameras. Sounds like your NVR lets you do that. Where do you see that on/off feature, PSS? If so which screen?

    Thanks for the reply. I have NTP off and I have checked manual sync and saved it but it drifts back an hour the next time the NVR syncs the cameras. My Dahua's and Flir's all keep the time accurately. It's just my four HIKS that have this problem. I've even tried turning off DST in the 4 cameras...

    I have tried IE, no difference. Keep in mind that prior to the bricking a few days ago I was able to change settings and reboot as much as I wanted so I'm not convinced the reset button would suddenly and coincidentally go bad but I guess it's possible.

    Yes it does. I use the web interface to log in but Hikvision's IVMS works too. Another odd thing I noticed is that when I first access it via SADP after the update the IP is 0.0.0.0 mask 255.255.0.0. I would have expected it to be 192.0.0.64/255.255.255.0.

    I would have thought that if it can transmit the downgrader dav it could transmit any supported dav regardless of a flaky reset button. If it can for one why not all?

    Yes there is a rst/wps button on the back. I'll fiddle with that and see if I can get it to move in or out.
