    The type i have have the light sensor on the back. Perhaps it kicks in little to early if that is heavy shaded, but in the test i done so far inside they switch over like expected , and than there is also no direct ceiling light shining on them.

    Well, if they come from the side over the fence and move right beside the wall, can't they bypass the camera ? That is what worrys me, fence is limite to 2 meter high, so no real problem to climb over for many people. And than thye will most likely pick the most easy place to climb over it.
