    Hey dude, that's me. My Sunba just died a sudden death after three years of otherwise okay service. Tried everything in the books to bring it back to life. The ceremony is tomorrow. RIP Sunba. :(

    Thanks again nayr. I've been shopping for a new PTZ to replace the brick I have out there now. I like the Dahua at the top of the thread but I need something that can tilt a little above 90 degrees.

    Ah, got it. Thanks for the clarification and the link nayr. In my rural neighborhood that would be very useful. I'm in the country where there is usually no ambient light so the IR stands out like a sore thumb.

    Well I finally got around to installing a mic on my mini PTZ camera. The audio far exceeds my expectations (clean audio, no buzz, super loud and sensitive). Thanks again for all of the help.

    I installed one of these cams about 9 months ago (like the OP's) and it works great. Mine has the audio/alarm function and I just now connected an external mic.
