    Adding Wifi to NVR, Doable?

Can't you just harden the nvr to the point it will be very difficult to steal? Or hide a camera with Sim card to get good face shots of whomever takes the nvr Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk

Best NVR for hodgepodge of cameras!

I have limited experience having only 3 cameras but having 2 dahua and 1 imporx running on a dahua nvr I can tell you their are issues. My imporx is considered an onvif camera by my nvr and I do not get full functionality of settings when accessed through the nvr. I'm still playing with it but...

@klasipca Do you know what ports are usable for this camera? After the difficulty I had setting it up and now that I have it working I'm hesitant to mess with the port. But it's not perfect. The camera doesn't like to display using gdmss. I think it's because everything else is on port 37777 and...

I must have bad luck...or good...depending on how you look at it

I must have bad luck...or good...depending on how you look at it

They're prolly trying to build a bigger case. Once they identify a local burglar they will try to put every unsolved burglary in the area on them that they can. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk

    Bad driver bends my bumper

I don't have to lie and say it was stolen. It's just like a red light camera. Since they get a picture of the plate and not a face you get a fine no points. The prosecution has the burden of proof. Anyone can see the glaring reasonable doubt with no identifiable pictures or eye witnesses...

    Bad driver bends my bumper

They'll never prove who was driving that's why they can't prosecute. But they insurance company if any will have to pay since you can prove the vehicle hit it. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk

Strange the camera didn't deter them when they first noticed it. I'm assuming not being able to get in sealed the deal. If you'd only would have had line detection up you could have caught them in the act. A plate camera would have been awesome as well. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk

"Smart Detect" feature of Dahua camera!

The ivs option on the nvr is only visible in the setup phase. If you restart the nvr and go through setup at the bottom of the screen will be a check box for ivs. I believe it's the 1st screen where you set date and time. Check it and you'll have ivs functions under camera and events. Sent from...

I don't think I will. Once I reset it I'll just access via Web gui and set it to dhcp. Once it's up and running on nvr I'll put it static and keep it however it was assigned. If everything works. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk

@Ssayer How did you update firmware? I have the same problem as you.
