    i thought i had solved it but NOT. its a hit and miss regards to No 2. I used the IP address and password which we login to the panel. It does connect to it but blank screen which confirms there is connection of some sort.

    went for the VTH1660 after chatting with Dahua UK support, seems like the VTH5xxx has many issues with wireless plus i would need a separate POE switch to power it and not the Dahua switch i need to get anyways to power VTO2000A.
