    I know Andy has a direct line to the developers at Dahua. Since this has been an issue for 2+ years and we’ve not seen any confirmation of it working perhaps he can reach out to his contacts and ask? @EMPIRETECANDY

    @bigredfish These are not the thumbnails the original post was talking about. Those can be found by going to 1. Playback 2. Select the video clip icon Can you confirm if you have thumbnails in that view? Thanks!

    Really appreciate the quick reply. I have their cloud disabled and login to the app locally using VPN so that's probably my problem right there. Bummer :/

    Dahua cameras on google home (nest hub, max, Lenovo, ...)

    You can use Scyrypted to achieve this. Cameras can be viewed in Apple HomeKit, Alexa and google home for free. If you have a Rasberry Pi laying around you can run it off that
