    In for the ride. I do know a coupler will work for a single line with Poe. A splitter will work for your situation...but...not sure about the transfer of bandwidth ( possible degradation), and same issue perhaps with Poe.

    Yes. Basically same setup that I have. I simply added wifi for wifi camera's and 10Gbe nic for my servers. If I used vlans, setup would be more straight forward. But, I don't quite understand vlans.

    having just woke up and a little fuzzy eyed, try looking into Zero Tier for your "vpn". I use it with a separate nic ( separate IP , does not see internet) on my blue iris machine and all of my footage goeas to my nas (TrueNas)
