    hikvision DS-7716NI-SP and 3mp (2304 x 1296) resolution

    the hikvision 7716ni nvr does support 3mp but the resolution it support is 2048 x 1536..all the cameras that are connected to the nvr are 3mp hikvision brand.. he got a dahua 3mp camera and he thought the resolution would be the same but it was different..2304 x 1296 i'll tell him to upgrade...

    i'm trying to help a friend connect a dahua camera that has a 3mp resolution of 2304 x 1296 resolution to a hikvision ds-7716ni-sp. it seems that the hikvision nvr does not support the 3mp resolution... i was able to connect them using onvif and 1080p resolution (1920x1080).. camera works...

    I would go for the hikvision turret.. their IR is far better than the hikvision dome, bullet.. not that familiar with the dahuas.
