    New version of Smart PSS

    fyi new version of SmartPSS will allow you to download as .mp4 even if your older firmware does not have it supported. My NVR5216-16p-4ks2E is still on old firmware: 3.215.0000000.3, Build Date: 2017-12-11 and I can download as mp4 with SmartPSS.

    Review-Dahua IPC-K35A 3mp Cube Camera

    I just got it for $79 fast shipping to US vs. $68 slow 3-4 week shipping. It works well and is my first 2 way talk camera. I do wish it had a slimmer mount as it sticks out on my vertical wall it’s mounted to. If you plan to keep it on a table the mount works real well.

    TinyCam Pro w/ 2019 Amazon Fire 7 and IPC-HFW5231E-Z & HDW5231R-Z

    The last picture I think you can select sub stream if you choose. I might be slightly different than you because I point each camera to my NVR IP address and then in advanced settings change the channel in the url it finds from channels 1-7 (I have 7 cameras).

    I have no problem on my Fire 7 using TinyCam Pro with Dahua Cams. Are you using a Dahua NVR or Blue Iris? I use a Dahua NVR and can walk you through the settings if you're using one.

    I wonder why the connections defaulted to 5 on your newer firmware. I just checked my NVR firmware 3.215.0000000.3, Build Date: 2017-12-11 and under Network ----> Port (I don't have Connections) it shows 128 as default already.

    I’ve found that whenever the app is updated I won’t get alerts until I have restarted the NVR. I don’t recall whether I had to resubscribe after the restart.

    Same question here although I think that once the NVR is updated there will be no need to update the cameras themselves if you're just looking to get the email functioning again. Either way I don't see it as that big of an inconvenience - you don't have to take the cameras down to update them...

    Try a thick rubber band between the tool and what’s left in the set screw. Apply pressure and you may be pleasantly surprised when it backs it out of the screw.

    I’m not sure how I can do that. I’m open to trying if there’s a way but I’m using a Dahua 5216 NVR and I’m pretty sure I don’t have the hardware required to check. My switch is unmanaged.

    Could you temporarily setup a new gmail account and try with the new one? Maybe google didn’t like the amount of emails and blocked your account from smtp access?

    Did this stop on May 1st? I had the same thing happen to me. Switched to TLS on 587 and back up and running.

    You know what? I just used my laptop which is still on SmartPSS 2.02 and it shows the entire day. When I use my desktop on SmartPSS v2.002.0000007.0 I do not see the entire day. Looks like there is a bug with the update - great catch @tigerwillow1 - maybe Andy can submit a bug to Dahua...

    Hi, I have 7 Dahua 5231 cameras connected to a Dahua NVR set to record 24/7 Recently when I tried to pull up a stream on SmartPSS I was missing part of the day but when I use Pale Moon to login to the NVR directly and go to the playback tab my entire day is there (as I would expect it to be)...

    I’m sure others will chime in but in the meantime I’d try to drop the resolution first and see if anything changes. If no change I’d try disabling smart codec but I think dropping the resolution down might stop it. Perhaps your computer can’t handle 4 steams with that high resolution.
