Help to record when Audio is detected
The dahua cameras im using dont allow audio detection, if its there its not gonna work very well because the mic on it is really bad and picks up smallest echos and sounds. best to setup motion triggered. -

Just follow my instructions and it will work 100%. Iv tested and still have this setup at home. It's because the NVR routes the audio to it only. It's kinder stupid if you ask me. But I think it's limited to the Poe ip camera setup. Can someone with another brand of IP can we confirm this ? -

Do a factory reset of the cameras and I also noticed if there's an ip conflict the cameras won't work at all. Look at the NVR logs and configure 1 camera at a time and assign them with individual IPs and test.- wasabi

What POE mode (A or B) does Dahua PoE NVR use?
They all suppprt A and B. It's something to do with your cable or camera.- wasabi

Remote access setup...
Try connecting to it with the IP address first. If that works on the same network then it's setup up correctly. Log into your router and find the ip of the NVR, login to your NVR and make sure the port is set up correctly along with password etc. Add the NVR on the app. Easy.- wasabi

You can. Connect a powered microphone to mic-in in the back of the NVR and the individual audio should come out of the audio-out port of the camera (providing you have an amp and speaker) connected to the camera. -
