    I also noticed this since the app updated to the latest version with motion detection, at times its 5-10minutes delayed and sometimes no notification at all on the phone. I can see the running man on the main monitor but no notification on the phone, tried everything from deleting the app...

    Dahuaddns is not available for v4 update anymore, scanning the QR code adding it with SN works much better and safer. and no need to add port forwarding. Best option for you to update to v4 and adding it with SN, > then setting up alerts with motion within the idmss app. Note IVS will not work...

    i would first check if all your cameras are on the same firmware version. next is unplug each camera and test this 1 by 1 see where the fault is and see if they are all working according to your settings.

    im afraid you have bricked your NVR, return to original place of purchase is the only option. the reset button on the board wont work if its bricked.

    yeh thanks for that. The DMSS app is abit less user friendly compared with IDMSS, the favourites screen, the playback dosent allow prompt type to be live or video, and no dark mode.
