    That's what I've been thinking. Made the mistake of using cheap cable. Have ordered full copper cat5 cable and accessory's. Going to swap out my cables next weekend. OH BOY, getting ready to rewire my system. Should of read thru WIKI thread before jumping in.

    Does anybody have a idea for a wireless bridge from network switch to to my computer. My old wireless router seems to be doing it, but it’s old. Don’t think it’s up to 12 4k cameras. Bought a dual band wireless router. I can’t seem to access the router thru it. Any suggestions are appreciated.

    Thanks, yes it is a 8th Gen. Intel. My main question, is the 8 4k cameras that much of a drain on the CPU? Not such a big deal. if it is, will just will keep the 8 cameras on the Lorex NVR system, and run the new cameras on the Blue Iris. Thanks for you input
