    Your advice was spot on! I had access enabled for Private, but not Public profile. Fixed that, and now everything is working as advertised. Per your earlier recommendations, I backed up mtdblock2, mtdblock0 and mtdblock1. Now, I'm off to research how to build these into a FW file. Thanks!

    Had a similar issue, in which I had the tilt near the limit, which resulted in IR reflection in the dome. Problem was resolved by mounting the 2532 on a wedge to have the lens closer to the center of the range.

    Thanks, fenderman. I didn't realize that the Q-See nvr would limit my 3 MP to 2 MP recording, good catch. My DS-7680 came from Nellys. I will check out the DS-7104 you pointed me to, to see whether it is good enough for my application.
