Several people have given you advice on this setup, and I'm not sure if you've tried the advice or not. Again, you could set up zones in BI so that only motion in the area of the porch triggers the AI. I'd probably use 2 zones and setup crossing so that people just walking past won't trigger... -

You can still use the all of the motion detection functions of BI. DeepStack just helps it be a little smarter. So have you tried setting up zones in BI? You might be able to set a zone crossing so that it only triggers the ai if someone comes near the porch. That's what I'm doing with my porch... -

@morten67, I'm not sure that the Celeron processors have AVX. The wiki I found on AVX said that most Pentium and Celeron brand CPU's lacked it and Core CPU's include it. Thanks @nstig8, that seems to be the issue with my setup as well. I installed the NOAVX docker image on my NAS and it worked! Unfortunately it's WAY too slow to be useful. I'm only sending it 640x480 images to analyze and it's taking around 40-50 seconds per image to process. Next I'm going to... -

I don't have any issues getting DS to run on same Windows 10 box as my BI server. But I want to offload the DS processing to my NAS. Between the camera streams, the AI Tool and DS my CPU gets maxed out. It would be nice if they made the DeepStack GPU version available for Windows, but it looks... -

So is Portainer used to add functions to Container Stations docker engine? CS lets me set Env variables in the advanced settings for the DS container, but it doesn't like the dash in the variable. I tried it as VISION_DETECTION but then the DS engine ignored it. -
