    Pricing is good, I would pay more for faster turnaround times.... I am concerned with them moving to a per camera charge that I may move to a local solution for faster turnaround and lower cost with more hassle. I am willing to replace a few cameras if they would report BOTH vehicle and human.

    I am considering setting up and testing this, anything I should know? Also, can you have the cool down be by event type? IE notification for vehicle (start vehicle cooldown), and if a human is then detected it notifies you and starts a human cooldown cycle? Thanks, -Dwight

    I would get the AI, so I can filter on cars/faces realtime. Unfortunately many of the AI features in the camera are either or :( There is a could option for human detection, but the delay is a challenge and they don't have vehicle detection yet.

    You can leverage triggers from cameras (built in or BI trigger)and have Blue Iris send a PTZ to a fixed position.

    Is there a Dahua Firmware FAQ around? ie Best practice, recommended procedure, etc. IE download from x, validate x version matches your existing camera, reset to factory defaults after upgrading. Ideally an option to backup the existing version, etc. Also, what order to update the bin files?
