    Do you mean 4MPvs3MP camera or 4K camera? Because 4k are a lot more expensive vs 4MP (minimum 3-4x).

    I have bought those mics, too. BUT I have a problem with them: I connected it with a 12V external ali and they make a loud hum when connected to my Dahua IPC4421AS: you can't quite hear anything else. It could be some noise loop? What could I do?

    Finally I got mine. I see in BI there are some controls (PTZ/controls) for brightness, contrast and so on. But they does nothing. Is there a way to control camera settings without going to browser? It could be better done in BI due to the profile options.

    When I said buying the 4MP, I was thinking to build a system from scratch, having no camera at all. If someone has some 3MP camera, I agree with you, it's not the case to upgrade at the moment.

    I deleted all the webrec folder, tried IE, downloaded the plugin, closed IE, executed the exe, restarted IE: it's logging but it asks again the plugin and live video doesn't work. So, at the moment the only one working is FF.

    Looking at the spec of a 4MP xx5 it seems it has a different sensor, as regarding resolution and also sensitivity 0.07 instead of 0.01 of xx2. So it should the same with a 3MP 2335 vs 2332, more worse with a 4MP 2342.
